What is the Maximum Tire Width that Will Work With the Hollywood Racks Parking Stand
Question:
I have an mountain ebike with WTB Ranger 2.8 27.5inch tires the 2.8s are technically 2.75 inches wide, will they fit in this rack? I ask because your 8/16/20 reviewer Jim of the 3 bike stand Swagman Bike Storage - S64018 commented that he had no problem with his 3inch wide tires for the 3 bike stand, even though I believe thats also specd for 2.5inch wide max. I would prefer to buy 3 separate HRPS1 stands rather than the 3-unit product. Thank you.

The Hollywood Racks Bicycle Parking Stand part # HRPS1 is designed for a max tire width of 2.5". There is only 1/4" of difference between your tire and the racks maximum. This means the racks could be "modified" slightly to accept it but of course you would be bending the rack.
For an option that will work without "modifications" the Saris The Boss Bike Storage Stand part # SA6014 is a great stand that uses the back wheel to secure the bikes and works with most all tire sizes.
