Does your information show whether the 2013 Mini Cooper S convertible has power assist brakes, which would make the Even Brake non-usable?

The 2013 Mini Cooper does have power assist brakes or commonly know as power brakes. The Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System part # RM-9400 is compatible with your 2013 Mini Cooper and will work out great for you. The power assist on your Cooper will have no negative effect.
