Troubleshooting MaxxFan Deluxe That Won't Operate Via Remote or Manual Controls
Question:
we have 2 of the deluxe model it is just barely over 2 years old 1 works perfect the other one is not responding to the remote or manually. I read about the temperature being too cold and adjusted the remote. still nothing. The batteries are 3 bars so they are good. What do I check next?

I would start by checking the power wires going to your MaxxFan Deluxe # MA00-07500K just to make sure there is still power being supplied and potentially a fuse wasn't blown; you can also check the rain sensor to make sure there isn't any debris or dirt on the lens. If these two check out, it's most likely that the control board or the motor have gone bad.
The way to test the motor is to bypass the circuit board by disconnecting the motor and then applying power from your battery using a jump wire to one wire while connecting a grounded wire to the other wire of the motor. If the motor can't be powered with the battery, the motor has gone bad and can be replaced with the Replacement 12-Volt Variable Speed Fan Motor for MaxxAir MaxxFan RV Roof Vents # MA10-20968.
If the motor functions properly when powered by a battery power source, the control board is the culprit and can be replaced with the Replacement Printed Circuit Board for MaxxAir Manual Lift RV Roof Vents # MA10A21276K.
I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to have a look at, as well.
