Transporting Kayak With Toyota Tacoma With Overland Bed Rack
Question:
Hi I have an overland bed rack on my tacoma see attached pic.... I am looking to mount a cargo basket and add kayak carriers to it. Would the Yakima baskets mount to 4 inch wide cross bars. If not I could drill into the bars to mount if that is an option.

You can carry your kayaks by getting the Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Load Extender # Y01149, get two pads # Y07417 and two sets of straps # Y05006. There is no cargo basket that will fit 4 inch wide bars nor can I recommend drilling for a basket install. This will be a good solution to your problem though! I've included some videos of the load extender to show you how it works!
