Best Fit Bike Rack With 2020 Subaru Outback With OEM Hitch

Question. Will the Apex with the locking mechanism fit onto the hitch due to the OME hitch cut out? It appears the cut out isn’t large enough - but was hoping you can confirm. Thanks.

I have a bike rack for you that will not have any clearance issues. The Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting Item # TH9025XT may be a little harder to really torque down the knob and get the pin into place. I want you going down the road knowing that your equipment is secured properly which is why I recommend the Thule Camber 4 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting - Steel Item # TH9056. This one will do everything the Apex would but this one you won't have to worry about there being any issues. You will not be able to lock this bike rack without purchasing the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device Item # THSTL2 so grab one of those with the Thule Camber 4 and you're set!
