Grease Leaking from E-Z Lube Spindle and Hub
Question:
EZ lube hub leaking grease on front of wheel what may cause this problem?

Expert Reply:
There are a couple things that may be causing an E-Z Lube spindle to leak grease. There could be a bit too much grease # L11390 and the excess is coming out, or the grease cap or grease seal of a hub like # 8-231-50UC1-EZ is not fitting properly or possibly damaged, causing the grease to leak out.
It may also be the grease zerk is a bit loose but unless it's an excess of grease it's not something to be overly concerned about. You can check the zerk for that, but otherwise just keep an eye out and if need be, remove the hub and see if the seal is broken, replacing as necessary.
I have added a link to our entire selection of grease seals, caps, and bearings for you.
