How Does Adapter Bar Work for Step-Thru Frame Bike and Platform Bike Rack
Question:
The step thru adapter is specified for hanging style carriers. How is the going to work with the Hollywood rack that applies downward pressure to secure the bike?

The adapter bars like the Swagman Deluxe # 64005 and Thule # TH982XT were initially created for hanging-style bike racks, but we have found that they work really well for the hooks on a bike rack, like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Rack # HLY84FR, to connect to.
Instead of the adapter bar putting pressure on the underside of the seat and handlebars it will put pressure on the lowered ends of the bike like you can see in the attached photo.
