Can the Kuat NV 2.0 4-Bike Platform Rack Be Used On a Motorhome
Question:
I have two questions: 1 Can this rack be used on the back of an RV with a hitch. It shows as not Motorhome recommended. However we are renting a Cruise America RV - 5 person which has a standard 2 inch hitch on the back. Is there any reason it would not work? Is there anything Id need to check on with them to confirm whether it would work? 2 Also Id like to clarify whats the difference between the Kuat NV 2.0 4-Bike Platform Rack - 2 Hitches - Tilting - Metallic Black NV22B-NA22B and the Kuat NV 2.0 Base 4-Bike Platform Rack - 2 Hitches - Tilting - Matte Black BA22B- BA02B. I see the price difference of $1178 vs $1048. Is that just the inclusion or exclusion of the Bike stand? Or are there any other differences functionally? Thanks

The Kuat NV 2.0 4-Bike Platform Racks like part # NV22G-NA22G are not rated for use on motorhomes since the ride is rougher back there. Instead, I'd recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4 Bike Platform Rack part # HR1400Z which is a similar bike rack that is rated for use on a motorhome.
In regards to the Kuat NV 2.0 Base 4-Bike Platform Rack part # BA22B-BA02B and part # NV22B-NA22B, the difference is indeed the bike repair stand.
