How to Determine Fit of SolidStep Triple Step for Travel Trailer

My TT only has 2 steps. I want to see if there is a way to add a third

Expert Reply:
While you can't add a single step to your double steps, you can replace them so long as you have the right distance from the ground and width of doorway of your travel trailer.
For example, the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps # LC791572 is a triple step that is for 26" to 29-7/8" doorways and for a doorway entry height of 27" to 36" so if these were your measurements you could use this step. You also need to have the same mounting bracket dimensions of 22-1/2" wide x 10-1/2" tall x 6" deep for use with this step.
Once you know your entry height, doorway width and mounting bracket dimensions you can use that to determine if you can add a triple step. I have added a link to our entire selection of triple steps for you to check out.
