Exterior Clearance for Lippert SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Step to Fold and Unfold
Question:
After this specific 3-step model is mounted and installed in the RV, how much clearance is needed from the outside wall of RV to fold and unfold the steps? In other words what is the radius when folded out horizonal parallel to RV floor or ground. For example, if my RV is parked in storage and I have 40inch between my RV outside wall and another next door, will I be able to unfold this step and gain access to the door? I dont mind if I have to collapse both leg supports to their minimum distance to help.

The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 26" to 29-7/8" Wide RV Door Frames - Triple - Aluminum
# LC791572 has a travel height of 56-1/4 inches. So to get the outside dimension you will subtract your threshold tread plate and plus the hinge plate.
