Which Hitch and Bike Rack Should I Get To Carry E-Bikes On My 2014 Dodge Challenger?
Question:
I have a 2014 Dodge Challenger with a aftermarket Borla exhaust. Im looking into getting a E-bike that weighs approximately 50lbs and need a hitch and rack that would accommodate the weight of 1 E-bike and 1 regular bike. Im worried about ground clearance and installation with aftermarket exhausts. Any suggestions??

First let's get a hitch that will fit with your Borla exhaust but also have good ground clearance. The Curt Hitch Reciever Part # C13236 will give you 9-1/2" of ground clearance.
Now, let's find a rack with the most ground clearance. The Inno Tire Hold 2 is going to be able to carry two electric bikes with a weight of 50lbs so you will be plenty good when it comes to weight capacity. This Rack has a rise in the shank so it sits higher than your hitch receiver when hauling. If you are still concerned with ground clearance you will need a high-low adapter # RM-072-2. This gives you an extra 2" rise to give you more ground clearance. This will lower your tongue weight with the adapter in the hitch, but it won't be a problem with only 100-150lbs in the hitch. I have included some videos to help you make your decision.
