Will the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter Work With Mor/ryde Pin Box

Question:

I have a 2002 Duramax 3500 that has a Curt undercarriage hide-away flip up ball used for gooseneck towing. I am purchasing a 2007 37Jayco 5th Wheel that has a Mor/ryde pin box based on part number it replaced a Leland 7920. I initially was going to go with the Reese Goosebox however, it appears they do not manufacture one for the Leland? I then though an Andersen Ultimate Hitch conversion however, I see there is an upgrade that needs to happen to use the mor/ryde pin box. At this point, I considered having a traditional hitch and rails installed however, per dealer the mounting for the Curt gooseneck hitch is all welded to the frame and would require grinding that off and then reinstalling rails Big $$$. Although this remains an option, after many hours of reading possible options, I believe the Demco Recon Gooseneck is an viable option? My only concern is whether the Mor/ryde will match up. Any advice is sincerely appreciated.

The Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # DM8550045 is indeed the best option aside from modifications to the truck or trailer. In regards to compatibility with a Mor/ryde Pin Box, it will work yes. That said, if you have a model with rotating turret then you'd need to lock this out but that is all. The majority of Mor/ryde Pin Boxes don't have a rotating turret so you should be fine but either way it can be made compatible.
