If your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 has numbers scrolling on the display when it is not connected, it seems likely you have some sort of corrosion on the brake output circuit of your 2011 Escalade's 7-way. It would seem that the brake controller thinks that your trailer is still connected, which would explain the numbers.
I recommend removing the connector from the socket of your 7-way and cleaning the pins to see if that does the trick, and a replacement 7-way may be needed as well, the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket with Mounting Bracket - Vehicle End # HM40975, assuming you have the factory 7-way.
As far as the codes you were referencing, those can be found in your manual, and if you don't have a physical copy I have linked a copy for you.
I have also added links to a couple of help articles I recommend taking a look at on testing and troubleshooting brake controllers.
