7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connection and Step Bumper for 1995 Ford F-350
Question:
I just purchased a 1995 F-350 dully that Im putting a new 16K Curt receiver hitch on. Due to the 10inch bumper the previous owner put on the truck, Im also having to replace the bumper to just a regular step bumper. I will be pulling a lot of different trailers and would like to stay away from adapters as much as possible. Would the above part work on my truck? I know its not what your site recommends, however, this is the type of plug I would like to use. I do have a brake controller in the cab.

The Hopkins 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket and Wiring - Vehicle End # HM40975-11998 will absolutely work on your 1995 Ford F-350. Since you already have a brake controller, the wiring is likely already connected but it not you can find the tow package wires on the rear frame rail.
If you haven't already purchased your step bumper, we have the Westin Fey Surestep Deluxe XLT Rear Bumper with Custom Installation Kit - Chrome Plated Steel # 21007-92230 along with other options I've linked.
