I need to connect the Hydrastar Marine actuator to the trailer 3/16 brake line which has a male connector on it. Is this the correct flex line? Thank you,

The HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator part # HBA16 is designed to be used with a 3/8" fitting like that on the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Hose part # bh-3mfs-7.

It actually matters greatly! Chrome is not all that corrosion resistant. Stainless steel on the other hand is light years ahead of chrome as far as corrosion resistance. Since you are at the Gulf Coast and salt water stainless steel is the way to go.…
