Trailer Hitch Fit for 2013 VW Jetta Hybrid Sedan
Question:
I have a 2013 VW Jetta Hybrid SEL. Your site states that hitches for this Jetta will not fit the hybrid model. Other sites state they will, i.e. draw-tite hitch #24866. Can you confirm that this hitch will not fit?

Expert Reply:
There is just one trailer hitch receiver I can confirm directly from the manufacturer is a fit for your 2013 Volkswagen Jetta sedan, though not the Draw-Tite you referenced. For a 2013 VW Jetta Hybrid sedan, the trailer hitch receiver I can confirm fits is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11474.
If you plan on doing any towing you will also need the Wiring Harness # 118572, Drawbar for 1-1/4" Hitches # C45520, Pin and Clip # F-4, and either 1-7/8" hitch ball # C40001 or 2" hitch ball # C40018.
