Availability of Replacement Latch for Sears X Cargo Box

I have a Sears model 30072501 with a broken front latch. I have no idea how old this is, and I am unable to locate a replacement.

I spoke with my contact at Thule, who manufactured the Sears X Cargo boxes.

I was told that the # 03347 latch you mentioned is indeed the correct replacement for the damaged latch on your # 30072501 cargo box.

I am confident that the replacement latch #03347 will fit your Sears X-Cargo cargo box. It has been determined to fit on all sizes of the X-Cargo box with little or no modification of the box itself.

For your Sears X-Cargo cargo box 300.7261 you can use latch #03347 that you have referenced. This latch fits many versions of the Sears X-Cargo boxes.

It's a newer style of latch, but Thule has said that their replacement latch part #03347 that you referenced has been confirmed to work on the older Sears X Cargo Carriers like what you have.
