Replacement Hub and Wheel For Unitized Hub on 2000-lbs Axles with Inner Bearing L44649
Question:
Im looking for either a unitized wheel and hub or a hub I can switch over to. This is a boat trailer for my jonboat. The tires on it are a 4.80-80 The current hub uses both inner and outer bearing part # 44649 The seal is a National 203029. I have attached some pictures. 1 - spindle length from seal area to end 2 9/16 2 - a picture of the hub/wheel 3 - the measurement from brg race to brg race in hub 1 5/8 4 - the overall length of the hub 3 7/8 Thanks for all your help with this.

I have a solution for you on this, but we do not have any unitized assemblies available, so you would need to get a new hub and wheel for your trailer. I'll also mention that the # AKIHUB-440-2-2K won't work for you since the grease seal does not match up with the 1.250" ID of the National seal you mentioned. However, you can use the CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly w/ Carrying Case for 2,700-lb Axles - 4 on 4 - Pre-Greased # CE13109 which use # L44649 inner and outer bearings and have a grease seal with a 1.249" ID and 1.983" OD, so they'll match your current spindle.
Since you're swapping out of a unitized setup, you will also need a wheel and tire combo. I recommend using the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM30050 because they come with a galvanized wheel that will help protect against rust and the Load Range C tires are going to have a bit better capacity than some of the other available choices. These wheels do have the 4 on 4 bolt pattern that will work with the above mentioned hubs, so you'll have everything you need to get your trailer back on the road and running smoothly.
I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to have a look at, as well.
