Curt Tru Track Weight Distribution System for 2020 Jayco Whitehawk 28RL Travel Trailer

Trying to figure out if the curt 17500 weight distribution hitch is correct for my application. Dodge 2500 with factory towing package with the receiver center at 22 inches. Towing a 2020 jayco whitehawk 28rl Dry tongue weight 785 Height 27 inches

The GVWR of your 2020 Jayco Whitehawk 28rl is 8150 lbs, which is the 6600 dry weight plus the maximum cargo weight of 1550 lbs. This means when fully loaded, your tongue weight can range from around 800-1200 lbs.
Given that, your best bet is to determine the actual tongue weight of your Whitehawk as you'd typically have it loaded when you tow it. To that figure, also add the weight of anything carried in the truck bed behind the rear axle. A tongue weight scale like # e99044 would work well for finding this, but there are other ways of finding the tongue weight as shown in the article I've linked for you.
If you find your tongue weight is below 1000 lbs, the # C17500 Curt TruTrack you'd looked at would work great. If it's greater than 1000 lbs, the higher rated # C17501 would work better.
