Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Shows Lower Voltage When Using Brake Pedal
Question:
When I apply the brakes using the brake pedal it only shows up to 2.2 on the module. When I use the overwrite it goes all the way to 12.0. Does this mean there’s something wrong with my brain control?

Nope! What happens is since the Prodigy P2 # 90885 is a proportional controller with an inertia sensor, it can tell that your vehicle is sitting still so when you press the brake pedal it knows it doesn't have to send much power to the trailer brakes. The manual override will send back max power output that you have set no matter if the towing rig is in motion or not.
Once you start driving around and applying the brakes with your foot you will see that voltage jump up to the setting you have it at.
