Photos of Front Mount Hitch 65025 on a Ford F-150

Question:

How much of the facia must be removed or trimmed when installing this hitch? Do you have a photo of a F150 with this hitch on it? Thanks

The Draw-Tite Front mounted trailer hitch, #65025, requires trimming on some Ford F-150 models and removal of the lower fascia on others. I have attached 2 photos showing this hitch mounted on two different F150 trucks for you.

For 1999 and newer 4WD F-150, F-250 LD and Expedition models, remove lower fascia.
For 1997-1998 4WD F-150, F-250 LD and Expedition models without tow hook option, lower fascia must be removed or trimmed for receiver tube clearance.
If trimming is required you will have to remove enough material for the receiver tube to pass through the lower fascia.

The is also a drawing at the top of the instruction sheet showing where the hitch will sit when installed. I have provided a link to the instruction sheet for you.
