Compatibility of 2-1/2 Inch Hitch Receiver with Bike Rack
Question:
My GMC 3500 has a 2 1/2 inch hitch but i have an to accommodate 2 inch s. I assume this model will fit. My question is the pin. Will the model pin fit. If not, i have another locking pin that i can use.

The RockyMounts MonoRail 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Tilting - Wheel Mount # RKY10004 will not directly fit your 2-1/2 inch hitch even with a reducer sleeve because of the threaded pin. I recommend using the Brophy Hitch Reducer and Extender - 2-1/2" to 2" Trailer Hitch - 7" Long # HR26 which will allow for the bike rack anti-rattle and security to fully function as designed. I do recommend the XL Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2-1/2" Hitches - 3-1/2" Span # SHP2040-XL
