Install Video and Wiring Recommendation for a 2016 Ford Edge with Draw-Tite Hitch
Question:
The tutorial video on the #75234 trailer hitch receiver was excellent, but did not include any information about connecting a wiring harness. Is that a separate video?

Yes, that would be a separate video. Basically since some people use aftermarket hitches just for recreational accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers we shoot different videos for each product.
In addition to the Draw-Tite # 75234 I recommend using a T-One wiring kit because we have found that they tend to be the most reliable on the market. If your 2016 Ford Edge is an SE or SEL model use part # 118669 but if you have a Sport or Titanium use part # 118677. I am linking installation videos for both of these wiring kits as well as the hitch mentioned above so that you have all of the info needed in one place.
Since it sounds like you plan on towing you're going to need a ball mount kit to wrap up your towing setup. I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You will want to refer to the attached ball mount article to ensure that this kit is correct for your towing application.
