Will RockyMounts BackStage Swing-Away Work On a 2016 Hyundai Sonata

I am interested in buying a RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack - 2 Hitches - Swinging - Wheel Mount. I have a fat tire e bike and i currently own a Hyundai Sonata 2016. Will this rack work on my type of car?

In order to install a bike rack on a 2016 Hyundai Sonata you'd need to start with a trailer hitch, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11402 which has a class I rating and 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. The class I rating and 1-1/4" receiver tube opening is important because that is how you are going to determine the compatibility of a bike rack.
The RockyMounts BackStage part # RKY10002 won't work as it requires a class III rating and 2" receiver tube opening so instead I recommend the Yakima HoldUp EVO 2 Bike Platform Rack part # Y02480 which is fat tire compatible and has a tilting feature so you can get into the rear trunk with the bikes rack still attached. That said, a swing away rack won't be an option for smaller vehicles like a Sonata.
