Troubleshooting Trailer Brake Controller on 2020 Chevy 2500 HD

My truck isn’t remembering my trailer brake gain how can u fix that or do I have to reset it every time

If your truck isn't remembering your brake controller settings, it appears it is losing complete power. There should be a very small draw that won't hurt your battery but will save your settings, much like your truck stereo saving the presets and clock. You can test that using a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
If that is the case and there is absolutely no power when your ignition is off, then you will either need to reset your gains each time or bypass the current power wire with a circuit breaker like # 38630 and # 12-1-1 wire sold by the foot.
