Can Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch for 2010 Jeep Liberty be Used with Weight Distribution
Question:
Can you use a weight distribution hitch with Drawtite 75578 hitch?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Draw-Tite hitch # 75578 is rated for weight distribution. I've also linked an install video for you.
If you also need trailer wiring I recommend the Tekonsha harness, part # 118554.
Since you're asking about weight distribution it's fair to believe the trailer you're towing also has brakes so you need a 7-way and brake controller as well. With the 4-way I mentioned you can use our # ETBC7L kit to convert it to a 7-way and then use the Curt Echo brake controller, part # C51180. This is the easiest brake controller to set up and use because it connects to your phone through blue tooth and doesn't require a controller in your Jeep's cab at all. Also, since there's nothing in the cab there's no need to run the brake output wire so the 7-way is easier to install.
I've linked some videos on the # ETBC7L kit and the Curt Echo. I also linked an install video from when we install our other kit, part # ETBC7, on a 2008 Liberty. The install is the same except you won't need to run as many wires.
