Recommended 4-Bike Rack for a 2020 Ford Explorer and 2020 Subaru Forester

i am looking for a 4 bike hitch mount. My trucks are 2020 ford explorer Class 3 and 2020 Subaru ForesterClass 1. I cant figure out what bike racks would apply. Looking for a higher end hitch mount that will keep the bikes safe. Any recommendations? Thank you

Thank you for all of the info! I definitely can help you with the best bike rack option for your application, however first thing is first. In order to be able to use all 4 bike positions you need at least a Class II trailer hitch. Since your 2020 Subaru Forester is currently only equipped with a Class I, I recommend upgrading it to the Class III Curt # C13409 so that you can carry up to 4 bikes.
With that being said, I highly recommend going with the Kuat NV 2.0 4-Bike Platform Rack # NV22B-NA22B. Kuat has been setting a standard in high-end bike racks and all of their racks receive high praise from those who use them so you can be confident that you're getting a quality rack that is built to protect your bikes and last a long time. This has a 2" shank so you will need to use the Class III hitch on the Forester for this.
The Kuat NV 2.0 in particular is a platform rack and it secures the bikes with an arm that ratchets down on top of the wheels. This means that it's not only compatible with any bike frame style that doesn't have a front fender, but it also won't have any bike frame contact. The Kuat NV 2.0 has all of the standard features of a bike rack (tilting, folding, locks, and being able to convert to a 2-bike rack), but the things that stand out the most are that this has an aluminum construction so you don't have to worry about it rusting, plus it comes fitted with a bike repair stand so you can work on your bikes at the trail or even at home much easier.
