Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 With 5-1/2 Foot Bed
Question:
Have a 2013 Dodge ram 1500 5.7 quad cab 5-6 ft bed what kind of hitch would you recommend

Expert Reply:
The best gooseneck hitch for your 2013 Ram 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot bed is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1309.
The Turnoverball hitch is the best because it has a square base for its hitch ball which ensures optimal strength and durability. What that means is the ball isn't going to turn when you are driving, keeping the connection to your gooseneck coupler totally secure and stable.
The square base of the hitch, along with its powder-coated steel construction, is why it is considered the best gooseneck hitch available. The Turnoverball has been widely praised by our customers who have it, with about 900 at the time of this writing giving it a nearly unanimous 5-star rating. I have added a link to a video install for you to check out as well on a Ram 1500 of the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1309.
You can add a gooseneck wiring harness to your 2013 Ram 1500 if you have the factory 7-way with the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-Pole # PK11893-11932. Since you have a bed that is less than 6 feet, to get additional clearance you may also need the 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4685 and B&W Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler # BWTEXA4200.
