The correct adapter for your older Thule Sidearm roof mounted bike rack is actually the # Xadapt1. This will allow you to mount your Sidearm 594 (discontinued) bike rack to either Thule Rapid Aero or AeroBlade roof-rack system.

The # XADAPT2 is designed to adapt the Thule Big Mouth 559XTR and Thule FlatTop ski carriers 724 and 725 instead.
