Can Brake Line System on Tandem Axle Cattle Hauler be Upgraded
Question:
Hi I have a twin axle cattle trailer that has 13 inch wheels and also has steel bars going to the each back plate of the hub. i was wondering if I can change the bars for cable and if yes what will I have to replace to make the brakes modren thanking you in advance

You should be able to bypass the current hydraulic setup on your cattle trailer to add newer brake lines but to be quite honest I'm not quite sure what you mean in regards to the steel bars.
I recommend going with a brake line kit that uses flexible hose for your brake connections as that will help give you a longer lasting system. We have these available in kits with a steel main line like part # T4830000 or with the flexible hose all throughout like part # 18TA-BLKIT for you to check out.
