The Phoenix USA Baby Moon Hub Cover w/ Open Center - 8-7/8" Diameter - 4 Spline - Stainless - Qty 1 # PXQ1400 has not been used for that application that I'm aware of. The splines can be removed and the overall dimensions are:
With splines: 8-7/8" diameter x 1-7/8" tall
Without splines: 8-7/8" diameter x 1-3/8" tall

This could be a very cool custom application. I've attached a video to assist.

Both of the standard trailer tire sizes for 14 inch wheels (205/75-14 and 215/75-14) are designed to fit a rim that is 5-1/2 inches wide. Those sizes also fit 6 inch wide rims too.
