Troubleshooting part # TLL16RK not Illuminating
Question:
I replaced the rear lights stop/turn signals and running on my Toy Hauler. When I took it out of storage the passenger side didnt work at all. I made all new connections and it still didnt work. There are only three wires coming from the light, a green, a white and a brown. Do you have the wiring instructions for this product available? I didnt save mine because when I replaced the stock ones on both sides they worked fine. The item ID was TLL16RK.

We can get you set! To answer your question the wires on the LED Combination Trailer Tail Lights part # TLL16RK are going to be
Brown= tailight
Green= turn and brake
White= ground
The white wire is where I believe the problem lies. Since the entire housing is not lighting it is the likely the ground wire is not getting a good connection to the frame of the trailer. It could have been incorrectly wired but after confirming that is correct the ground would be my next stop. You want to ensure it is making good contact. I like to clean the area around where the ground will go to bare metal to ensure a long lasting installation.
