In order to connect your Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-581 to your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee I recommend using the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521440-4 because you won't need to use an adapter to connect to the tow bar.
There may be a few other components you need to round out your flat towing setup, if this is new, so I've listed the parts I recommend using below.
Safety Cables: Roadmaster 68" Coiled Safety Cables #RM-643
Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster 7 wire to 6 wire Flexo Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking: Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR
