Will B&W Patriot Work on 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 With 5-1/2 Foot Bed

You can use a B&W Patriot 5th wheel hitch on your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500, but not the sliding option - or any sliding 5th wheel hitch. The reason for that is you don't have the needed clearance to make a sharp turn and a 5th wheel trailer will hit your truck cab. So to tow a 5th wheel with your 5-1/2 foot bed '14 Silverado 1500 you need a fixed hitch and a Sidewinder rotating pin box. For the hitch:
- B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3200
- B&W Custom Installation Kit with Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2503
To find the correct Sidewinder what you will need to know is the manufacturer and model number of the pin box on your fifth wheel and match that with the correct replacement.
