There are two four pole trailer wiring options for the 2020 Jeep Cherokee. I prefer the Curt T-connector # C56406.
Since your vehicle didn't come from the factory with wiring, it probably didn't come with a hitch either. I recommend # C13395. This hitch is concealed behind your bumper cover and only the receiver tube is visible from behind the vehicle.
I have attached an article to determine which ball mount works best for your application. An existing ball mount might work, but make sure to check the article for a correct fit.
