Does B and W Biker Bar Install Permanently on Motorcycle

Question:

Do you leave the bar attached to the motorcycle permanently or only mount it when your about to trailer the bike? I am going to have a small Toy Hauler camper and looking to mount this to a 5/8inch plywood removable pad so i do not damage the floor of the camper. I was going to use a rubber bottom on the plywood to prevent sliding and i dont mind using tie downs also to stabilize the removable deck. This bar systems seems like the best thing to keep my 2011 Road Glide Ultra vertically stable without worrying about it falling over to the non-kick stand side. Your thoughts? Regards,

The lower bar of the B&W Biker Bar Motorcycle Tie-Down System for Trailers # BWMC2301 that you referenced is designed to mount basically permanently. I'd leave it on as long as you were planning on using the system frequently but if you weren't going to use it for a while I'd take it off.

This would work well with the 2011 Road Glide Ultra.
