Can 26.5K Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Hitch Be Adapted to Fit 2018 Ram 3500 OEM Pucks

Hi, I have a reese 27 5th wheel hitch and i just purchased a 218 ram 3500 with the factory 5th wheel prep pack. will this adapter work with the reese 27k part # fc3j-5b110-AA

While the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # RP30154 will fit the pucks on your 2018 Ram 3500, it is not compatible with your 27K Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30922.
I tried to see if you could get away with simply replacing the Reese Elite legs # RP58543 with the legs # RP30864 for the Reese OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package, however, they use different size bolts to attach to the center section, so that wouldn't work either.
Your only option is to try to sell your Reese Elite hitch and put that toward the cost of a new hitch, like the top rated B&W Companion # BWRVK3600.
