How to Lock a Kayak to Yakima Mako Aero Saddles and a Roof Rack
Question:
Mako Aero Saddles from Yakima have optional locking system. Is there any additional locking system to secure the kayak to the top rack? Let me know.

Like you said the Mako saddles can be locked to the crossbars on the vehicle. But, to lock the kayak to the crossbars, you would need to use something like a cable lock, # Y07233. You can then get the saddles and this lock all keyed alike by changing out the lock cylinders using # Y07204. I have included a a link on the lock cylinders for you.
