Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2005 Toyota Highlander

Question:

I have a 2005 Toyota highlander limited 3.3L but no tow package. Should I also add a transmission cooler or should I be fine without it?

Adding a transmission cooler to a vehicle that is going to be towing is a really great idea. Especially if the vehicle wasn't equipped with any type of tow package. Often times the factory transmission cooler is barely adequate when not towing so when you are towing a cooler will do an excellent job prolonging the life of it. The Derale part # D13501 would be a really solid option that's confirmed to fit.

Also the etrailer hitch part # e98857 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2005 Toyota Highlander as well.
