Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuator

Question:

I was about to order the item #4395100 and the push rod. I have a Trailex Aluminum car dolly with drum brakes and not made anymore. But it has a model 60 hitch with a Dico 189 master cylinder. All looks well except the height yours says 3 5/8 inch? mine is 3 tall which just fits, X 2 1/8 wide . Am I looking at the wrong one? Or maybe I am stuck. Bolts are 1/4 inch and 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 apart which could be re-drilled.

I can tell you for sure that the correct replacement master cylinder assembly for a Model 60 (either Titan or Dico) brake actuator hitch is the Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 60 and Aero 7500 Brake Actuators - Drum # T4395100.

I researched and was unable to find a reference to a Dico 189 cylinder, but if you have a Model 60, you've found the right master cylinder. It sounds like you indeed will have to re-drill the bolt holes to install this replacement.
