Is There an Upgrade Kit for a MaxxAir Roof Vent Fan To Use Wireless Remote
Question:
Do you have a maxxair upgrade kit. I have a maxxair fan in my camper but the buttons are to high for my wife to reach. if it came with the controls on the wall or remote control which included electric lift, she would be able to operate them. Thanks

I do have an option for you but there isn't an upgrade kit for a MaxxAir Roof Vent Fan that would allow you to use a wireless remote. Instead, your only option is an actual replacement the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent part # MA00-07000K for white or part # MA00-07500K for black. I know this may sound like more work than you are willing to take on but replacing the vent fan is actually pretty easy to do with just common hand tools for the most part. The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent is a nice upgrade all around as in addition to the wireless remote, you get a reversible fan with different speed settings, a rain shield so you can still use the fan in inclement weather, and it has power lift so no more hand cranking.

Does this replacement require removal of the roof side housing? I.e. do I have to break the factory sealant on the currently installed fan or can I just replace the inner fan assembly?
