Where are Fifth Wheel Installation Rails Placed in Bed of 2008 Ford F-350
Question:
I have 2008 f350 6 3/4 ft bed, Im just trying to figure out where the rails go. I do know the go over the axle but I dont know the exact measurement from the back of the bed to the back rail. For my model,make, year of truck. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

The instructions call for the rear rail to be placed first, with it's rear edge 32-1/2 inches forward of the rear edge of the truck bed (not the rear edge of the tailgate) as shown in the provided diagram.
I've linked you to the installation instructions for the Reese # RP30035 which is Reese's version of the universal fifth wheel hitch installation kit as I was unable to access the instructions for the Curt # C16101. Both install kits are identical and install in the same exact manner. In the linked instructions, the procedure specific to your truck begins on page # 10.
I've also linked you to an installation video that will run you through the install process.
To install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed, use part # 50-97-410.
