Hoses and Regulators Needed to Add Dual Tank Propane Setup to Trailer

Question:

I am setting up a BBQ trailer and I want a dual tank setup, I will be coming from the dual tanks going 15foot back to three separate propane cookers. If you could please email back with the complete setup I would need that would be great. I understand the final end connectors are not mentioned and would be up to me to find but if you could get me as far back as the manifold to split the line into three that would be great.

I attached a picture that shows what the typical dual tank setup looks like with the accessories needed labeled.

First thing you need is pig tails to go from the tanks to the regulator like the part # 100473-12. Then for a dual tank regulator with automatic changeover we have the part # 37207-30395 that each of the pigtails would connect to. Then for a 12 foot long extension hose that would plug into outlet of the regulator you'd want the part # 100040-144-MBS. From there you'd connect your accessories depending on what fittings they have.

For dual tank holders we have the part # 37220BL for 20 lb tanks, and # 37230BL for 30 lb tanks.

When using the JR products Automatic Changeover Regulator to connect to two propane tanks, do I connect the output of Changeover Regulator to my generator which came with a hose and regulator. In that case, I would have two regulators. Thank you for your reply.

You wouldn't want to connect the JR Products Regulator to the hose you mentioned, as two regulators on the line would reduce the pressure too much. You'll want to use a different hose (without a regulator) to hook up to the generator. If you can tell me what type of fitting is on the generator I can recommend a specific hose.
