I have a 2019 GMC Yukon I want to install a brake controller in. I don't want something super expensive but I want something that will do the job well. I have the factory 7-way.

The best brake controller solution for what you described is the Draw Tite iCommand part # 5535 as you get a ton a brake controller for the money. It's very reliable and easy to install on your 2019 GMC Yukon with the install harness part # 3016 and it's proportional which means it senses how hard you apply the vehicle brakes and applies a relative amount on the trailer brakes.
The only easier option worth mentioning is the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180. This basically just plugs into an active 7-way and once synced to your smart phone is ready to go. I attached review videos for both controllers for you to check out as well.
