Will the eTrailer Hitch for a 2020 Honda CR-V Block the Hands Free Lift-Gate Sensor
Question:
Will my hands free life gate still work with the eTrailer Hitch for my 2020 Honda CR-V?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98848 which is what I recommend for a 2020 Honda CR-V will block the hands free lift gate sensor. That said, all of the trailer hitch options for a Honda CR-V will block the hands free lift gate sensor but there is a way around this using a relocation bracket (Touring CR-V Hands-Free Sensor Relocation Kit 08U59-TLA-100A) which will need to be obtained by the dealer.
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver is an excellent option because it has a hidden cross tube and what this means is that you don't have to look at a bulky, ugly hitch on the back of your vehicle everyday as it will be almost completely hidden. The hidden design also means you won't lose as much ground clearance like when backing out of steep driveways.
If you will be using the hitch for towing then you will also need a trailer wiring harness. I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118741 which is a plug and play option. The Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 would then have you ready to hit the road.
