Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for 2020 Subaru Forester for Carrying E-Bikes
Question:
I have a 2020 Suburu Forester which has a spoiler. I intent to buy a hitch rack to transport two 45# ebikes. I think the rack should have support straps to prevent to much stress on the hitch, but I dont know how to install the straps without damaging the spoiler.

Stabilizer straps aren't recommended or required for carrying heavier bike racks like what you plan to do with your 2020 Subaru Forester. I don't recommend going that route as I'd hate to see you damage your new vehicle. Instead I'd recommend a trailer hitch with plenty of weight capacity so you wouldn't have to worry about that as well a hitch rack designed for heavier bikes.
The Draw Tite hitch part # 76271 has a tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs so with this hitch and a Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 which was designed for e-bikes you'd be totally fine and not need any additional support.
