Which Front Hitch Fits 1998 Jeep Wrangler for Use with Snow Plow
Question:
I am interested in this for my 1998 Wrangler. First can you retain the original tow hooks with this application. Second, can this be used with a snow plow. It appeals to me because it does not cause issue with approach angles since it is above the bumper. However it does place the receiver several inches about the bumper. Does this cause any issues with a plow or any other accessories.

Since your goal is to push a plow with a front hitch for our 1998 Jeep Wrangler you'd want the hitch part # C31028 instead as the Draw Tite # 65048 puts the hitch opening too high for a plow like the SnowBear part # SB324-080 to be used. In the install instructions there's no mention of needing to remove tow hooks so you wouldn't need to remove them.
