Will this B &W Companion hitch work 04 Dodge Ran
Question:
Hi, I have a 2500 04 Dodge Ram 5.9 Diesel which already has the B and W gooseneck hide away installed. Looking for a hitch to safely tow 37’ Keystones Cougar dry weight appx 11,000 lbs Yes, I will be adding leaf springs and heavier coils in the truck to beef it up. I’ve asked the “experts” and so far have quite a few different answers.

You can't go wrong with the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs part # BWRVK3500-5W that you referenced it will in fact work very well for you if you have a long bed Dodge Ram. If you have a short bed you will want the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs part # BWRVK3400-5W. These are my favorites. They are extremely easy to use and very well built. I've heard plenty of complaints about 5th wheels but never on a B&W Companion. Happy Camping!
