You definitely can hard wire the part # PK12703 plug to your Wrangler, we have the wire and can help you do it. However, the easiest way to wire your Jeep with a 7 way connector would be to purchase a standard 4 pole connector (just plugs in behind the taillight assemblies) either # 42615 or # 118409, and upgrade with an # ETBC7 wiring kit. This kit has all parts necessary to install the 7 way connector on your vehicle and has the wiring for trailer brakes and auxiliary power to the trailer for charging the battery or accessory lighting. A good brake controller is the Tekonsha Prodigy part # 90885. This kit will also give you a standard 4 pole connection at the back of the vehicle for versatility. If you need a connector for the trailer also then you could use either # PK12702 or # PK12706. Instructions are included with the harnesses and I have posted links below to the parts mentioned, instructions and a video to help guide you through the wiring process.
