To flat tow the 2020 GMC Canyon 2WD without adaptive cruise control you will need a base plate, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring, supplemental braking system, and possibly a high low adapter. I recommend the Demco brand tow bar and base plate because they are the most versatile parts available, if you decide to switch tow bars in the future they offer the most adapter parts to adapt different brands of tow bars to their base plates.
